This is a shot that I took at the Pasig Rainforest Park when my son and I were there for a field trip. This is I think the aviary. The ceiling is made of a transparent or see-through material.
I looked up and was amazed by the pattern the tree branches made against it. I took a shot though it’s “against the light” and then I had to have it lightened and darkened to get the effect I want. And still I did not get the effect that I want. The result is below. Really not very good, eh? I should have left it alone, haha.
There’s also a beautiful butterfly garden at the Pasig Rainforest Park. I love this black and white butterfly. Probably because this was the only one I managed to capture on cam .
And here’s a brief description of Pasig Rain Forest Park from the Department of Tourism Website:
PASIG RAINFOREST PARK
Location: Legaspi St., Brgy. Maybunga, Pasig City. This Central Park is an eight-hectare park used for sports, leisure and educational activities. It includes a water park, equipped with cabanas, cottages, kiosk and other resort facilities. In addition to this, there are camping grounds, sports oval, fitness gymnasium, multipurpose center and a forest reserve, butterfly pavilion, mini zoo, aviary and an amphitheater.
